We are sorry we've been out of commission for a while. But we are back! To start Valentine's Day is Coming up! So, for this Post we want to share sweet lunch ideas to make for your kid's lunch boxes.
To start our favorite entree' is Heart Shaped Uncrustables!
To make the sandwiches, you must first decide what kind of sandwich your little one loves. Mine love PB&J, if you have older kids who's tastes bud are a bit more refined you can make ham and cheese, turkey, you can even make a grilled cheese sandwich, or whatever is their favorite. Gather ingredients and make sandwiches as normal, then take a heart shaped cookie cutter and cut out a heart shaped sandwich. Then pinch the sides together to make a seem. Viola! A perfect sweet sandwich for you little Valentine!
For this next one you'll want your little one's favorite vegetable and fruit, and small heart cutters. Watermelon is great for this one just slice the watermelon then cut out little hearts. Strawberries are easy to form into hearts because they are naturally shaped like hearts. Just simply slice in half and pull off green leaf. If you lay the topside up it will naturally look like a heart. If needed, you can cut a tiny triangle shape in the top middle to form a better heart. Cucumbers, slice and peel then use tiny cutters to cut out shapes.
A great Dessert would be heart shaped brownies with Valentine sprinkles, or you can use red, white, and pink M&M's. Don't forget to add a sweet little note for your littles in their box. Hope you and your Little's have a great Valentine Day!!! - Food Fashion and Family
